Thank you for using our ChessRoad Software (hereinafter referred to as "the Software"). Before using the Software, please read the following User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "Agreement") carefully. By installing, using, or otherwise accessing the Software, you agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement.
1. User Eligibility
1. You confirm that, by using the Software, you are at least 18 years old, or have obtained consent from your legal guardian to use the Software.
2. If you are under 18 years old, you must ensure that you have the consent of your legal guardian to use the Software.
2. Software License
1. All copyright and intellectual property rights in the Software belong to the developer, and you are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Software.
2. You are permitted to install and use the Software, but you are not allowed to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or distribute the Software without authorization.
3. User Responsibilities
1. You are responsible for all actions and outcomes resulting from your use of the Software.
2. You agree not to use the Software for any illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud, infringement of intellectual property, etc.
4. Google APIs and privacy
1. You may choose to sign in with Google. Google user data is used only to authenticate you, create or access your Chess Road account, display your basic profile, maintain membership entitlements, provide support, and protect the Services. Our processing of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
2. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising or to train generalized artificial-intelligence models. We do not use Google APIs to generate, distribute, or facilitate AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery, sexually explicit material, or other prohibited abuse.
3. Our Privacy Policy explains the categories of information we process, how information is used and shared, retention periods, international processing, and how to exercise your privacy rights.
5. Software Updates
1. We may periodically update the Software to improve its functionality or fix bugs.
2. Software updates will be pushed automatically, and you may choose whether or not to install them.
6. Disclaimer
1. The Software is provided "as is," and we do not assume any responsibility for any errors, faults, or losses that may occur during the use of the Software.
2. We do not guarantee the continuous availability of the Software or that it will be error-free.
7. Modification of Agreement
1. We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time, and we will notify you through in-software announcements or other methods. The modified Agreement will take effect as soon as it is published.
2. Your continued use of the Software constitutes acceptance of the modified Agreement.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
1. The formation, performance, and interpretation of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
2. Any disputes arising from this Agreement should first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved, either party may file a lawsuit in the court located in the developer's jurisdiction.
